ROBERT S. BAHARA, Managing Director
Experience: Mr. Bahara joined Echo in June 2009 and has been in the investment banking industry since 1992. Prior to Echo, Rob was Managing Director of Sovereign Securities Corporation, LLC where he helped create a successful fixed income t banking and advisory presence for the firm ultimately serving as sole, senior, co-managing underwriter or placement agent for a wide range of tax-exempt and taxable borrowers for an amount in excess of $20 billion. As Managing Director, Rob was responsible for business development, transaction execution, and finance structuring including the associated documentation for issuers of taxable and tax-exempt debt securities. He has completed many diverse and complex transactions on both a public offering and private placement basis designed to achieve clients' objectives. Furthermore, Rob has significant experience with derivative structures and has successfully negotiated a variety of swap structures along with customized solutions for the reinvestment of bond proceeds. Rob received a Bachelor of Science in finance and economics from the University of Scranton.
